The British Challenge is an annual competition, organised by the Royal Society of Biology, aimed at the top GCSE Scientists. This year there were 3500 entries. Mr McConville's triple scientists took part; Cara Clarke, Therese Clarke, Megan Connolly Young, Emma Fox, Niamh Guinnane, Lucy-Ann Morrison, Amal Joy, Hannah Kempston, Rachel Leyden, Rachel McAreavey, Nakita McCann Murphy, Elen 0’ Rawe, and Niamh Stewart. The competition consists of 110 multiple choice questions testing all areas of Biology, including many topics not taught at GCSE Level, and is designed to challenge the most able students. The whole class felt challenged after the exam. The girls are eagerly waiting on results.
