GUIDANCE FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE SITTING EXTERNAL EXAMS

  • Most exams will be in the Sports Hall. Listening exams will be in the room arranged by your teacher.

  • A weekly timetable will be on the school website

  • Please be outside the hall 15 minutes before each exam.

  • Please go to the toilet before entering the hall. You should only ask out in an emergency or if you have already provided the necessary medical evidence to the school.

  • All pencil case must be transparent

  • Remove all labels from water bottles

  • Only use black pen. Do not use gel pens or highlighters or tpex.

  • Do not bring calculator lids into the hall

  • Do not have notes/pages in your pocket.

  • Do not have writing on your hand

  • No phones, smart watches or electronic devices are to be brought into the hall

  • All watches must be removed

  • If you need anything put up your hand. Do not communicate either verbally or non- verbally with any other candidate in the hall.

  • If you hear noise or experience any other disturbance ask for Miss Magenis immediately. Do not wait until the exam is over.

  • If the fire alarm rings. Put your paper face down and follow the instructions given

  • Please do not ask for any question to be explained.

  • Ensure that you have been given the correct paper.

  • If you are ill on the day of an exam please bring a medical letter within 48 hours.

  • If you have an exam clash please ensure that you have sorted the times with me
