Congratulations to Anna Neal and Leona Rose Quigley in Year 8, who were named winners of the European Systems Safety Society Schools Competition. The competition involved preparing a presentation that described a hazardous scenario and suggested a scientific solution to solve the problem. The competition was open to all schools across the UK, which makes the girls’ achievement very impressive.
For winning the competition, Anna and Leona Rose have won two 3D printers for the school (worth £500 each) and Amazon vouchers for themselves.
A second team of Erin Rice, Jessica Carlisle and Caragh Crane were also commended for their entry and have been awarded Amazon vouchers.
