Livestock Meat Commission (LMC) Demonstrations at St Dominic’s


Wendy Donaldson from LMC has been visiting our Year 10 Home Economic classes this term to deliver lessons on cooking with meat and the importance of beef and lamb in our diet, in providing essential nutrients such as protein, vitamin D and B12 important for growth, repair and development of the body. During the demonstrations Wendy shows students how to cook some of their simple recipes using beef, students were able to sample two recipes using beef – Creamy Peppered Beef and Thai Red Beef Curry, both of which got the thumbs up from students!
