The Politics in Action Group involving Year 13 pupils from St. Dominic’s and Friends School, Lisburn had a great day in Dublin on Wednesday, February 25. They have set up a joint action group to consider Brexit. In Dublin, they met representatives from the European Commission who shared with them details of how the Commission operates. Later in the day, they visited the Department of Education and had a discussion with the Minister for Education, Mr Joe McHugh.
Both schools are indebted to Mr Peter Weil who has led this work with both schools for the last two years. The pupils from both schools will present their research findings to politicians in March
