Following a tough written application and web interview, two Year 10 students Amy McCann and Danielle Aleria were appointed to become 2019 Campaign Champions for this year's Send My Friend Campaign which aims for global education for all. They are one of only 11 schools across the entire UK to be selected.
Amy stated "I'm very excited to get involved in something that will make change happen in an area that I'm really passionate about". Danielle commented that she was "very thrilled to engage in a campaign that will help children receive the education that they rightfully deserve".
Amy and Danielle will take part in an action-packed 2 day residential at the end of March in England developing their skills to take the campaign message to the heart of government, meeting with MPs, Ministers and other high-level figures to try and make a difference for the 262 million children who remain locked out of education.
