Following their win at the Northern Ireland competition, the Mock Magistrates team consisting of Year 9 and 10 students travelled to the UK final this year held at the Royal Courts of Justice, London. After months of preparation they got some relaxing time to see the sights of London and shop on Friday before taking part in the competition on Saturday. They defended their case concerning a stolen mobile phone against The Ecclesbourne school and prosecuted a case about an assault on a taxi driver against John Hampden School. Despite excellent performances, they sadly did not win the UK title but did achieve 7th place! Over 4,000 students took part from over 300 school across the UK, the team should be very proud of their achievements!
