Two of our former Politics in Action students, Bláithín Drain and Scarlett Murray, were interviewed alongside Mr. Crudden and our partners in Friends’ School, Lisburn for the award winning ‘Stories of Impact’ Podcast series. Richard Sergay, an American Journalist who has spent most of his career working for ABC news, interviewed the students and teachers about their experience in Shared Education. The focus of the episode was how information is processed in a polarised world and in particular in a post-conflict society. The group were joined by a psychologist from Queen’s University to reflect on participation in Politics in Action, as well as the hopes, beliefs, and daily experiences surrounding the political and social divide in the North of Ireland.
