In the duet sections, Doireann O'Connor and Emily McAteer (Year 9) were awarded 2nd place in the 14 Years and Under section, and it was a clean sweep for St. Dominic's duets in the 15 Years and Over section as Cara Magennis and Sophie Toal (Year 14) claimed 1st place, with Caileen Voyle and Anna Lowry (Year 13) sharing 2nd place with Cara Linden (Year 13) and Olivia Napier (Year 14).
There was more success for St. Dominic's students on Friday as once again Sophie Toal, Cara Magennis and Olivia Napier claimed 1st place in the trio section for the second year running, and it was another St. Dominic's clean sweep in the fiercely competitive 18 Years and Under category. Olivia Napier was awarded 1st place for the second year in a row, Sophie Toal claimed 2nd place and Cara Magennis completed the winning trio with 3rd place.
Congratulations to every single pupil who competed last week and special thanks to Ruth Thompson and Dawn Burns, our fantastic singing tutors, for all their preparation and hard work.
