Shared Education - Cooperation Ireland award

Congratulations to Erin McCann on receiving the Silver Peace Award as part of Co-operation Ireland’s Future Leaders Programme!

Erin and her team took part in the first ever Shared Education for Positive Innovation programme last year, reaching the semi-finals in the all-Ireland competition. Following this, Erin has been accredited on Cooperation Ireland’s leadership programme connecting 30 emerging leaders and building the next generation of peacebuilders on the island of Ireland. This training programme aims to empower the next generation of young leaders and peacebuilders equipping them with the skills, confidence and networks to make a positive contribution to the future development of their own communities, while working with others from diverse backgrounds to take on an active role in peace building across this island and with our neighbouring island.
