Shared Education – Politics in Action

St. Dominic’s Year 13 Politics in Action students were invited to Friends’ School, Lisburn on Friday 4th April to take part in a celebration of the school’s 250th anniversary entitled ‘The Future Belongs to Peace’. This conference involved workshops and guest speakers across the day on the themes of ‘Women, Peace and Security’, ‘Climate Justice’, and ‘The Arts’. Congratulations to Emma Crawford and Ellie Dickson who were invited to speak at the opening of the conference, reflecting on their experiences in Shared Education, divided communities, the challenges we face, and hope for the future!
