St Dominic’s successful in Eco Schools Green Flag Renewal

Recently we were informed that we were successful in our Green Flag Application, which has been granted for another two years. This programme is very much a whole school effort and for the last two years the focus has been ‘Global Perspective’, with the smaller strands of ‘Climate Action’ and ‘Biodiversity’. I was able to include all the work the school is doing on these areas, including the work conducted with our Newcomer students, Politics in Action/Climate Action, Habitat for Humanity, volunteering as well as all the on-going work of the Eco-Club. Well done to everyone for their contribution, and special thanks to the Eco-Club. We will attend a special ceremony, where we will receive our flag in June.
