YABA

The school offers the YABA programme (Young Anti-Bullying Ambassadors).  The Antibullying Alliance (ABA) is a coalition of organisations and individuals united against bullying and seek to promote positive youth voices.  As Ambassadors,  our team influence ABA projects and help develop their messaging and campaign work.  Following their online training, the team collaborate via a series of zoom meetings with other schools’ YABA, helping to pass on the antibullying message to a wider audience.  The team for example explored topics to be raised when the Antibullying Alliance team met with members of Parliament.  It is great to see our pupils working to shape a kinder and more inclusive society.
