Year 10 Design Thinking and Dragons Den Competition

In term one of Year 10, pupils take part annually in an inspiring Design Thinking Workshop led by The Innovation Factory.

During the session, students explore creative and collaborative approaches to problem-solving before meeting the owner of our local coffee shop, Hatch, who presents them with a real-life challenge — a gap in his current menu.

Working in teams, pupils develop innovative solutions and pitch their ideas to a panel of “Dragons.” The creativity, teamwork, and confidence shown by all students are always truly impressive, showing incredible enthusiasm, imaginative thinking, and fantastic presentation skills through their prototypes, artwork, and pitches.
