Oxford University / Brainwaves

St Dominics are the first school within Northern Ireland to participate in this well-being research.  In 2026 for the first time following lead training, we began volunteer partnership with the University of Oxford, enrolling on the BrainWaves programme.   This programme is led by the Department of Psychiatry at Oxford University and seeks to collect mental health and wellbeing data from young people on an annual basis, tracking and analysing their responses.  Our Year 13 pupils’ contributions will help shape the BrainWaves wellbeing schools’ education and support programme.
