Abair Public Speaking
Abair is a public speaking competition open to schools in Northern Ireland and is organised by Gael Linn . The aim of the competition is to afford public speaking experience in Irish to students. Seasonal Cookery Club
The Cookery Club takes place regularly throughout the year. Students are given the opportunity to use and improve the skills that they learn in their Home Economics lessons to create a variety of sweet treats. The focus of the dishes prepared varies with the season of the year and includes Christmas and Easter themed recipes. The club takes place on a Wednesday from 3.15 - 4.15 and all age groups are welcome. Exact dates for the sessions are advertised throughout the year.
