Mock Magistrates Competition
This is an opportunity available to Year 9 & 10 students only. Run through the Young Citizens ‘citizenship experiences’ it helps improve young people’s understanding of the justice system and the legal system as they take on the roles of barristers, witnesses and court staff in a fictitious court case against other schools. Feis Bhéal Feirste
Feis Bhéal Feirste is a charity which promotes the Irish language in non-Irish medium schools located in the greater Belfast area. They host poetry and conversation competitions for both primary and secondary schools in order to encourage the use and study of Irish amongst our youth. St Dominic’s take part in Feis Bhéal Feirste each year as it is a great opportunity for the girls to engage with the language and enhance their confidence with the spoken language.

Shared Education
Shared Education in St. Dominic’s takes place across four main projects this year, as well as wider collaboration with Friends’ School Lisburn and partner schools across Ireland.
